LeT Chief Hafiz Saeed’s Political Front Leads Palestine Solidarity Protest in Pakistan

On April 7, 2025, the Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML), a political party linked to Hafiz Saeed, organized nationwide protests in support of Palestine. Major cities, including Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, and Islamabad, witnessed coordinated demonstrations that were less about solidarity and more about spreading islamic ideology. These protests, while labeled as acts of solidarity, became platforms for radical elements and designated terrorists to spread hate and extremist propaganda.

At the Lahore Press Club, Talha Saeed—the son of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) founder Hafiz Saeed—and Saifullah Kasuri, LeT’s deputy chief, freely addressed the crowd. Both are designated terrorists under India’s UAPA. Despite this, Pakistani authorities imposed no restrictions, once again demonstrating how Pakistan supports terrorist-led protests. Talha Saeed currently leads LeT’s cleric wing and continues to radicalize youth through religious platforms.

They chanted inflammatory slogans, called Israel a “terrorist state,” and criticized the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and other Muslim-majority nations for remaining silent about Gaza. The crowd erupted in religious slogans and emotionally charged speeches that fueled extremist sentiments.

LeT deputy chief Saifullah Kasuri spewed:

“The world calls us terrorists; let them. They label us global terrorists; let them. We don’t care about these accusations at all. O Allah, we are ready to sacrifice everything for our Muslim brothers, MashaAllah. You all gathered here in just a few hours, showing our unity with Gaza. We will raise 25 crore people of Pakistan for our Palestinian brothers. The day Pakistan becomes a truly Islamic nation, InshaAllah, both Kashmir and Palestine will achieve freedom.”

Such statements underscore the continued exploitation of religious sentiments by banned outfits to fuel anti-India and anti-Israel narratives, all while the Pakistani state remains oblivious.
